About Žirniukas

Warmth, creativity and things I would choose for my children

Žirniukas.lt is a Lithuanian brand born from a mother’s everyday life, love of textiles and a wish to create for children the things she would choose for her own home.

Today, children’s textiles, made-to-order sewing, educational workshops, creative camps and real family experiences meet here.

From one mother’s need to Žirniukas

Žirniukas began with a simple wish: to find quality, safe and cosy textile products for our children at a reasonable price. When I could not find what our family needed, I started creating it myself.

What we create today

Children’s textiles

We sew children’s bedding, pillowcases, sheets, towels and other everyday textile products.

Fabrics and made-to-measure sewing

We work with 100% cotton fabrics and can sew standard and made-to-measure products.

Nurseries and educational institutions

We sew bedding, towels, mattress covers and other textile products for nurseries and educational institutions.

Creative activities for children

We run sewing and creative workshops, clubs and children’s camps.

From family homes to whole groups

Our customers include families as well as nurseries, schools and other educational institutions looking for practical, durable and child-friendly textile solutions.

Quality we would use in our own homes

We choose fabrics responsibly. All our textile products are sewn from 100% natural cotton, and the fabrics meet the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® safety standard.

When sewing becomes an experience

We run creative and sewing workshops in schools, children’s sewing clubs and creative camps. Children discover fabrics, sewing and crafts and create their own products.

Seeing Žirniukas through a child’s eyes

Our Little Expert tests, creates, travels and chooses colours. Her ideas and adventures live in the Little Expert’s Corner.

What we want to leave behind

We want to create more warmth in children’s everyday lives, more confidence for parents and more opportunities for children to try, make and discover.

Quality that lasts

Creativity that helps children grow

Childhood does not have to be perfect
